Mineralische Rohstoffe bilden als natürliche Grundstoffe das Fundament für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung in Hessen und den Lebensstandard der Bevölkerung. Nahezu alle Produkte des täglichen Lebens und der Infrastruktur, von Straßen, Autos, Häusern, Treppen, Fliesen und Energieleitungen bis zum Brillenglas und der Zahnpasta, bestehen aus mineralischen Rohstoffen. Diese müssen dort der Natur entnommen werden, wo sie geologisch entstanden sind. Die Gewinnung von Rohstoffen ist mengenmäßig begrenzt, nicht vermehrbar, standortgebunden, d.h. nicht verlegbar und stellt eine zeitliche befristetet Nutzung von Flächen dar.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
